based on a few websites I found it seems like the agreed time is about 50-1.5 hrs depending on size and tempt. Some say heat oven to 350 while others say. 400 degrees. Some prefer to add butter or a soup stock to avoid basting as much as you normally would.

∙ 13y agoCook any chicken according to standard recipes for the bird. The only thing that might take longer is a very large, old chicken which should be stewed slowly for several hours, as it will be very tough otherwise.

∙ 16y agoIt certainly depends on the size but if your cooking a couple cornish hens approximately 1 - 1.5lbs each then preheat oven at 375 F and cook for about 1 hour or until they are no longer pink.
