It took mine about 40 days to get here!
It doesn't matter because you don't want to do this. If you are moving to Europe and you are not in the military, the car has to meet European specifications--which American-spec cars do not. It will cost you so much money to ship the car, convert it and license it you'd be financially far ahead to sell the car in LA and use that money to buy a different car in Europe. If you are in the military, though, and your orders authorize you to ship a car to Europe, it costs whatever it costs to get the car from LA to Bayonne Marine Terminal in New Jersey, where the Military Sealift Command will take your car to Bremerhaven, Germany.
A month by ship, three days by plane, two years by car, your whole life walking.
By ship
About 3,000 dollars
No. It's a transaction of personal property between you and that service member. The military has no obligation to ship anything on their behalf.
Well you would have to drive your car to the coast (probably California), put your car on a ship, get in your car and wait for the ship to arrive at Japan. A few days at least!
The total amount of cash that you give them ..
With a car around 3 1/2 hours.
About 5 hours.
It will take about 4 hours, if there is not too much traffic
