But to answer your question, it depends on how much energy you exert that day. Your body runs off calories like a car runs off gas. If you don't exercise or sit on the couch all day you aren't going to burn anything that you eat. I would suggest talking to your doctor, depending on your current size, weight, age and current eating habits it will be easier to make an exercise program that will work for you without putting an extreme amount of pressure on the body.

∙ 2006-03-29 00:28:59This would depend on how many calories you consume over that same time period, what type of calories you are eating (fat, protein, carbs) and where the calories you are burning are coming from (fat stores, glycogen stores, muscle, etc.).A very basic and oversimplified example to make this point would be if you burn 1020 calories per day for 30 days, but you eat 1020 calories per day for the same 30 days, you would not likely lose any weight.A second example to make the point, if you burn 1020 calories per day for 30 days, but you eat 2000 calories per day, you will likely be gaining weight. Thus, to lose weight you must be eating less calories than you are burning each day.
you would die if you ate that many calories. to lose weigh find out how many calories you should be eating for your current weight and then find out how many calories you should be eating for your target weight. slowly inch your calories down to that target weight range. and really you should ask your doctor about weight loss. to see if you even need it.

If you are planning to lose weight, burning more calories than you take in is one of the steps to get you there. If you need to gain weight instead, taking in more calories than you burn would be advisable. If you want to maintain your current weight, taking in and burning about the same number of calories would be a step in the right direction. However, in all of the above scenarios, the number of calories is just one aspect of the effort. The quality of the calories you take in and the quality of the physical activity that helps you burn calories also play important roles.
in order to lose weight you need to do a few things correctly. One of them is eating every 2-3 hours. Since you are eating this often though the "meals" must be smaller in comparison to the meals you would eat normally (about 500 or less calories).. The reason for this is that you are constantly burning calories throughout the day and when you intake calories in a small amount they are easily burned and will not turn into fat and extra weight. Say you ate 3 meals a day every 5 hours but they were bigger. Then you burn say 300 of those calories and the other 200 turn into fat or weight. You should really be eating only when you can burn those calories. If you eat a 1000 calories at once then you would have to have just run 10 miles for those to not turn into extra weight. exercise is important because it burns extra calories which allows you to either eat a little more or eat the same amount and lose a little more weight.
One day! that's not a good idea. You can gain weight back in one day. However, it's not going to be as muscle. It's best to gain weight at up to two pounds per week. it would be good to calculate the calories your body is using. Then, If you eat more calories than your using, you gain weight. Diet, exercise and rest definitely go together and to figure out how many calories your burning compared to how many your eating. So, calculate how many calories you have burned during the day and adjust your food intake to be less calories to lose weight or more calories to gain weight.
A weighted vest might help you lose a bit more weight. That is because you would be burning more calories by carrying the weight around, and also building more muscle. Muscle burns more calories than fat.
You might gain weight, but eating that many crisps would be very unhealthy. It would be much better to eat a healthy, balanced diet that included more calories than normal.
If a person is burning more calories actually what he/she consumed, this situation leads to get weight loss of that particular person.
In theory, you would go down by 100 calories per day, or a little over one pound (1/2 kilo) per month.
most people would loose weight because instead of eating before bed and not working of the calories it would lead to weight gain (ex. sugar turns to fat if not burned off) so not eating after 6 would help you loose weight in that sense, but it all depends on the persons body type or your lifestyle.
Eating 800 calories a day is very dangerous. A man of that height and weight should be consuming about 2,000 to 2,200 calories a day. If they wished to lose weight, the best way would be to reduce the calories to around 1,600 to 1,800 calories a day and begin to exercise. Such a dramatic cut in calories (to 800, for example), would reall begin to wreak havoc on the metabolism and not lead to healthy, long-term weight loss.
