It would be better to cook them at 200c and allow 25 minutes per pound (lb) of meat. Ribs are nice when the meat is falling off (just and no more) the bone.

You dont want to cook a roast at 400 degrees! For tender meat the best rule of thumb is slow and low is the way to go. 250 degrees at 30 minutes per pound

It depends on the cut of pork. A lean loin needs high heat for a shorter amount of time, a fatty cut like pork butt is when you go low and slow. Slow heat on lean meat just dries it out completely, like Grandma's overcooked turkey. The rule to remember is lean needs heat, fat needs low and slow.
