Jamie Lee Curtis is in four of the Halloween movies. She plays the lead role in the first two, which were released in 1978 and 1981. She is not in another Halloween movie until 1998, when she stars in Halloween H2O to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the original Halloween movie. After that, she appears briefly at the beginning of Halloween: Resurrection, when her character of Laurie Strode is finally killed by Michael Myers.

Jamie Lee Curtis appears in four Halloween movies. She is the original Laurie Strode, and appeared in Halloween 1 and 2. She is not seen again until Halloween H2O, which was released ini 1998. This was supposed to be the last movie in the Halloween series, as Laurie Strode kills Michael at the end by chopping his head off.

Producers decided that the movie did well enough that they wanted another one. Jamie Lee Curtis was not pleased with that decision, but did return at the beginning of Halloween: Resurrection. She only agreed to return if her character of Laurie was killed off so producers would not be able to bring her back again.
