How many Mega Bites per Giga Bite?
In one GigaByte, or GB, there are 1,000 Mega Bites, or MBs. More acurately, a computer can only count by 2's (base 2). A person counts by tens. One, ten, one hundred, one thousand etc. A computer counts by twos. One, two, four, eight, 16,32,64,128,256,512, 1024. 1024 is so close to 1000 that most people refere to 1K as 1000 when actually it is 1024. there are 1024Mbytes in 1 Gbyte. 1G =1024M, 1M=1024K, 1Kbyte=1024bytes. There are 1000*1000*1000bytes in 1Gbyte(1,000,000,000bytes in 1gigabyte), or more acuratly (1024*1024*1024) or 1,073,741,824bytes in a gigabyte. There are 1024MBytes in 1GB

A byte is the basic unit for measuring the amount of stored data on a computer. A meagabyte is 1,024 bytes, though this is often rounded to 1,000 bytes for simplicity.
1 gigabyte is 1024 Megabytes, 1 megabyte is 1024 kilobytes, 1 kilobyte is 1024 bytes, and 1 byte is basically 1 letter
1024, or 2 to the 10th power. The phrase "kilo" meaning 1000 and "mega" meaning one million don't quite apply when we are talking about computers. In computers, nearly everything is measured in binary, or twos. A switch is "binary"; it is either on or off. A magnetic field is binary; it is north …or south. An electrical field is binary; it is positive or negative. So most things related to computers are measured in binary, or in powers of binary. So in computers, one kilobyte is 1024 bytes. One megabyte is 1024 kilobytes, and one gigabyte is 1024 megabytes. A "bit" is a "binary digit"; a one or zero, on or off. A "byte" is 8 bits, and is equivalent to a single character, a letter or number. A kilobyte is about one page of text, a megabyte is about one book, and a gigabyte is about the size of the encyclopedia. ( Full Answer )
\nIt depends on what for you are going to use it. If it will work like a system drive then it's ok. If you are going to use to keep movies, music and so on, you will run out of space really quickly.
"Does it bite" is one of the most common phrases uttered, especially by children, regarding animals. The answer is yes. All animals have the capability to bite and there have been incidents of people being bitten by virtually every animal on the planet.
There is no unifying limit to the number of times an insect canbite. Some insects can only bite once before dying.
Roughly it depends what you do with it. Look on the back of the case and it will tell you the amount of memory it will take to save. If youy download something for it from the xbox live marketplace then it will take up like 1 meg but other than that. have fun!
There is no such thing as a "mega bite". However..... There are 8 bits in a byte.. Mega means 1000.. "Megabit" means 1000 bits.. "Megabyte" means 1000 bytes.. Since there are 8 bits in a byte, there are 125 bytes that make up 1000 bits (1000 bits divided by 8 bytes per bit = 125). A megabyte …= 1000 bytes. Therefore there would be 8,000 bits in a megabyte. (8 bits per byte). ( Full Answer )
There are 1000 megabytes in 1 gigabyte - so 4.80 times 1000 = 4800 - megabytes. Clarance : Actually 1 giga = 1024 mega , in rest do the maths
almost everything in the world can bite you ex: dogs, sharks, birds, hamsters, certain kids of fish and more.
the prefix "giga" means 10 9 = 1,000,000,000 (billion) and the part "byte" just means space.
1024 gb are in a terra bite but people say 1000 to make calculations easier.
Computer memory comes in multiples of 2. The nearest to 1,000 that we can get with powers of 2 is 1,024..... 2 10 ... 1,024 bytes = 1 kilobyte 1,024 kilobytes = 1 megabyte 1,024 megabytes = 1 gigabyte so, 3 gigabytes = 3,072 megabytes.
1000 kb or mb i am not sure is 1 gig ok that means 4 gig is ^Answer
based on 1000 KB = 1 MB and so on based on 1024 KB = 1 MB and so on 4 Nibbles = 1 Bit 4 Nibbles = 1 Bit 8 Bits = 1 Byte 8 Bits = 1 Byte 1,000 Bytes = 1 KB 1024 Bytes = 1 KB 1,000 KB = 1 MB 1024 KB = 1 MB 1,000 MB = 1 GB 1024 MB = 1 GB 1,000 GB = 1 TB 1024 GB = 1 TB . ~and the list goes… on~ . Don't confuse bits with bytes, ex. 8 Kilobits (Kb) = 1 Kilobyte (KB) so on with Megabits (Mb) Gigabits (Gb) ... Answer: 1,000,000 Bytes based on 1000 KB = 1 MB and so on 1,048,576 Bytes based on 1024 KB = 1 MB & 1024 MB = 1 GB, and so on most people will use 1 MB being 1000 KB, but the reason for 1 MB = 1024 KB was/is for the way computer memory is stored. that's why you see flash drives that are usually 256 MB, 512 MB, 1024 MB (1 GB) , 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB, and rarely 32 GB. that's where it starts, because you keep with the pattern shown: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024 , 2048, 4096 ... I hope this wasn't too confusing for you, but maybe this will answer future questions & provide a better understanding if you can keep up. P.S. for future conversions, If you'd like to convert based on 1000 KB = 1 MB, then all you have to do is move the decimal, and if you'd like to convert based on 1024KB = 1 MB, then google calculator will provide you with the correct answer. You can use google calculator by typing into their searchbar something along the lines of: KB in MB, but you have to remember to keep the letters capital, otherwise it will confuse it with Kilobits/Gigabits. Oh, and remember, almost all ISP's (Internet Service Providers such as Charter & Qwest) us Megabits per second, not Megabytes per second, so to find out how many Megabytes per second they are advertising, just divide it by 8. \n. \n Basic Conversions: \n8 Bits = 1 Byte \n1024 Bytes = 1 KiloByte \n1024 KiloBytes = 1 MegaByte \n1024 MegaBytes = 1 GigaByte \n1024 GigaBytes = 1 TeraByte\n \n. \n1024 kb to the Mb
There are 5120 MB in 5 GB.\n. \nRefer to below :\n. \n1 bit = the value of 0 or 1 \n8 bits = 1 byte \n1024 bytes = 1 kilobyte \n1024 kilobytes = 1 megabyte \n1024 megabytes = 1 gigabyte \n1024 gigabytes = 1 terabyte \n1024 terabytes = 1 petabyte\n. \nSo 1024 MB = 1 GB so i did 1024 * 5 and got 51…50 MB in 5 GB. One megabytes is 1,048,576 byes, or 1024 kilobytes. Therefore, 5 megabytes is 5120 kilobytes, or 5,242,880 bytes.
the most common unit of information in a computer is a bit . This is represented by the number 1 or 0 . A byte is eight bits , or a series of eight 1s and 0s. One megabyte is one million bytes , or eight million bits .\n
No, You are unable to buy giga bites unless you would like to buy a whole new ipod.
There are about 1000 Megabytes in 1 Gigabyte. . Actually there are precisely 1024 Megabytes in 1 Gigabyte.
there are 1024 megabites in a gigabite, but a lot of the time, people just say 1000 to make it more easy to calculate stuff
\nThose are different forms of measurement: Megabytes are a measure of space in computers, minutes are measures of time.\n. \nYou may be asking about how many megabytes you can download in a minute. THat number varies widely with processor speed, internet connection, and other factors.
You plug your i phone to i tunes. you click on iphone and at the bottem you see a bar that tells you how much space you have on it and how much you have used. Thanks
Well my friend a megabyte cannot indeed be "converted" as such to a gigabyte. One byte is a unit of measurement of data. Consult this table below.. 1 byte = byte. 1000 bytes = kilobyte. 1000 kilobytes = megabyte. 1000 megabyte = gigabyte. You can now see that in fact that a megabyte cannot be c…onverted to a gigabyte you just need to expand.. I hope this helps. Philipopop ( Full Answer )
The next larger prefix after Giga is Tera, so. 1024 (or 1000) Gigabytes = 1 Terabyte.. The multiple is sometimes taken to be 1000 and at other times it is 2 10 = 1024.
this stupid thing brought on by twilight where people bite each other, sometimes to draw blood, its pointless and hurts, dont do it
it depends... well a 2gb card can hold around 250... so 150 gb can hold quite alot :) ... maybe 18-20,000 :P hope this helped
There are 1024 KB in a MB, 1024 MB in a GB. That mean 1024*1024= 1 048 576 Kilobytes in a Gigabyte. BTW, it is spelt 'byte', not 'bite'.
Okay basically here it is broken down, Byte is 1, all forms of memory are formed around a Byte, Kilobyte = 1000 Bytes Megabyte = 1000 Kilobytes Gigabyte = 1000 Megabytes = 1,000,000 Kilobytes Therefore a Gigabyte is much larger than a Megabyte, there is 1 thousand Megabytes in a Gigabyte. Byte = …B kB = Kilobyte MB = Megabyte GB = Gigabyte ( Full Answer )
They bite by gripping with the jaws and cutting or tearing off with the teeth.
it is relative to type of file. A 25mb .txt file is a lot. A 25mb .avi is a reasonable amount. Regarding space/memory/bandwidth then 25mb would be a miniscule amount.
Really? That's the dumbest question I've ever heard in my life. 57.7. 1024. Which number is bigger?
1024 Mega Bytes are equal to 1 G.B. Then you can multiply to 8 GB - Mallikarjun M.Kotabal. Koppal. Karnataka, India.
The PS3 in production now have 160 GB or 320 GB earlier models had 20, 40, 60, 80, 120, or 250 GB
there is 10 dustbites per mm A dust mite is around 420 micrometers long and from 250 to 320 micrometers wide.
In case of IPv4, the address has 4 bytes. In case of IPv6, the address has 16 bytes.
It is 10 9 meter * * * * * 1 gigametre = 10 9 metres 1 megametre = 10 6 metres So 1 gigametre = 10 3 megametres.
Officially, there are 1000 (10 3 ) megabytes (MB) in a gigabyte (GB). So 500MB would equal 0.5 GB. .
It's not a question of "better", only of bigger. Giga is a lot bigger than mega.
there is 1024 KiloBytes in MegaByte. and 1024 MB in a GB and 1024 GB in a TB
It is a presumptuous question because it presupposes that bite / square " depends on the breed of the dog, when in fact, it has more to do with the size of the dog.
Multiply that by 1024 to get 2560 megabits. Note that a bit is not the same thing as a byte. A bit is an eighth of a byte.
A mosqutio can only bite once. In a few minutes or so the mosquito will have died. Only some species of mosquitos can bite more than once. The species of mosquito which affect us most by spreading mosquito borne diseases can bite repeatedly until it has satisfied it's blood thirst. A single aede…s aegypti may bite several times if disturbed while feeding. ( Full Answer )
Megabites are not a mesurement of leangth, it is an element of storage space. For example, you computer may have a maximum storage space of 200gb you have 1 picture worth 25mb 25Mb is 25,000,000 bites. 1Gb is 1,000,000,000 Bites. so 25Mb = 0.025Gb becuase you take up 0.025GB you have that… much less space on you computer! heres a link that may help you if you dont understand! Most commonly, 1 byte = 8 bits. It is hardware dependent, there is no official standard for it.
It goes; 8 Bits = 1 Byte 1000 bytes = 1 kilobyte 1000 kilobytes = 1 megabyte 1000 megabytes = 1 gigabyte 1000 gigabytes = 1 terabyte
Kissing plauge rats on the lips is bad but kissing them on the belly is okay.
The two digital measurements of which you speak of are: Megabyte(MB) and Kilobyte(KB). 1000 KB equals 1 MB, making 1 MB larger than 1 KB.
