In history there has only been two Queen Elizabeths. Queen Elizabeth I and Queen Elizabeth II. Queen Elizabeth II is still alive today as the Queen of England.

This IS actually Not True. According To Reliable Sources There have been 3 elizabeths. the first was in the 1500's the second thought she was the first in the 1900's then we have our current queen who is actually Queen Elizabeth The Third. Most People Think Shes only The second. Please Correct Me If im wrong. luv Mr Sprinkles

Actually I only know of three. There is the virgin queen Elizabeth. She married none, had no king, and considered herself to be married to England. Then there is Queen Elizabeth II, England's current monarch. And of course her mother, Queen Elizabeth, the queen mother.

There have been five; Elizabeth Woodville, wife of Edward IV, crowned 26 May 1465. Elizabeth of York, wife of Henry VII and mother of Henry VIII, crowned 25 Nov 1487, Elizabeth I of England and Ireland, daughter of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn, crowned 15 January 1559, Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, wife of George VI and mother of Elizabeth II, crowned 12 May 1937 and Elizabeth II, crowned 2 June 1953.

Two. Elizabeth the First reigned from 1558-1603. Elizabeth the Second took the throne in 1952, and is the current Queen. (Elizabeth I was Queen of England & Queen Elizabeth II is Queen of Great Britain & Northern Ireland)

Queen's in their own right - Two, Queen Elizabeth I and the present Queen Elizabeth II.

However if you mean Queen Consort's as well (wives of reigning monarchs) then there were three more, Queen Elizabeth Woodville, (wife to King Edward IV), Queen Elizabeth of York (wife to King Henry VII) and the late Queen Mother Elizabeth Bowes Lyon (wife to King George VI and mother of the present Queen).
There has been two English Queen Regnants called Elizabeth. Elizabeth I who reigned 1558-1603 and Elizabeth II 1952- .

Three Queens named Mary. Mary I , also known as Bloody Mary- tudor reigned l553-l558 daughter of Henry VIII and Katharine of Aragon ( who was a Spanish Lady), religious fanatic- hence the nickname. Mary II- co-ruler with William- Died l694 of Smallpox of all things- then we jump to the twentieth century and Mary Victoria of Teck- Queen Consort of George V and namesake of the Ocean Liner. Unofficially maybe Mary III though this was never officially used as she was a Consort Queen, not a regnant monarch. Mary, Queen of Scots- ( executed l587) does not count as she is not an English monarch as your queston frames.
