How many alligators are there?
There are two species of alligators, the Chinese alligator and the American alligator.
Yes, there are many facts about the albino alligator. However, there are only a few that are unique to the albino variety of gator (as opposed to regular alligators) albino alligators are very rare. alligators lay in the sun to help the digestive process; when albino alligators do this, they often get sun poisoning and die. albino alligators are light green, light brown, or white in color.
China (Alligator sinensis) and the United States (Alligator mississippiensis) are the only countries holding populations of "true" alligators. Caiman species, which are related to alligators, can be found from southern Mexico through northern Argentina. Crocodiles of many species are found in many tropical waters globally, except in areas from which they have been eliminated by man. These are all "crocodilians"....but alligators themselves are only found in China and the USA
