The size of a television helps determine how many amps it takes to run the device. The amps will vary depending on the type of television as well as the size. Older televisions that are not LCD will use different amps than the LCD models.
My 80 cm TV uses approximately 500 watt maximum when operating, and approx 100 watt when not operating, but still on 'stand by'. If you are using a VCR or a DVD recorder at the same time then it will consume more depending on the wattage of the recorder you are using with it. Look at the printed details on your recorder. They always have the wattage printed on the machine somewhere.
Look on the nameplate of your TV. There you might find the wattage. If not ,look for the amperage of the unit and multiply it times the voltage of the unit. The product of the two will be the wattage of the unit. W = A x V.
They're all different. There should be a tag on the TV that gives you that information. It's probably on the back, near the power cord.
My television, a 32 inch flat screen, uses 240 volts, 135 watts and 0.8 amps.
120vac
Probably not very many! A microwave will probably max that out right away. You may be able to run two 2-slot toasters on 1300 watts. Two or three small TVs may run on 1300 watts. Perhaps 3 or 4 box fans will run on 1300 watts. On a 120 V circuit, 1300 watts will draw a little less than 11 Amps.

how many watts aew needed to power a 110 volt tv at 1.30 amp
Depending on the size of the TV, somewhere between 0.3 and 0.7 KW. The nameplate of the TV usually lists the watts, divide watts by 1000 to get KW.
50 watts for a small one, 200 watts for a big one. The voltage is 230 v in Europe, 120 v in USA.
Most televisions run between 100 watts to 400 watts. That is less than a kilowatt.100 watts is 0.1 kilowatt400 watts is 0.4 kilowatt

Work out the total watts of what you want to run on the inverter (rated amps x input voltage) and if the inverter is rated to that many watts it should run the equipment. Best way to find out how the modified wave affects their operation is to try it.
