Luke 10:18 saying: "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven."
Since Satan is referred to as a star which fell or was cast down to earth, and in Revelation 12:4 it says a third of the stars were cast out with him, then the conclusion is that the stars in Revelation 12 refers to fallen angels, fully one-third of the heavenly host.
12:(3)And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.. (4)And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. Well, according to the answer above, apparently there is no straight answer. Maybe it was never recorded exactly how many were cast out, but I'm going to say a lot. I think there must have been a lot of angels there in the first place, & Satan does love to drag people (/angels. Both actually) down with him, no? I would assume he was able to trick quite a few. But once again, there is apparently no recorded number as to how many.
