The ASPCA estimates that 5 to 7 million animals enter animal shelters nationwide every year. 2 to 3 million of those get adopted. Answer Over a million, but many do not survive... Only lucky animals get to have a loving home that gives them water, shelter, and food. Sometimes they don't even make it out of the vet from there checkups and shots and disease check. Most have to be put asleep or are neglected and abused and are left to die. Please take care of the animal you have, and do not have a mean pet around kids. Please only have the amount of pets you can handle. If not, please find them a better home. For someone that can handle the situation better. If not, try your best to find a place like the humane society or a vet or a pound. Thank you, and please let your pet have a life.
Well, seeing that we have tons of animal species, believe it or not, 1-3 animals die out a day! If that's not enough, times that by 365! Now that's a lot!
4 million animals die a year because there isn't enough room in animal shelters!!
Many!

NOT ENOUGHT FOR THEM we should mmake more animal shelters. animals help us so we should help them
There are over 7 million pets in animal shelters looking for homes.
More than 10% at most shelters.
Because there are so many animals there that don't have homes that their only choice is to put them to sleep. :( There aren't enough shelters or adoptive parents for all the animals. Most of the shelters live on donations as well. Some animals have had a rough life and can not be rehabilitated and is dangerous to to people while others are too sick.

There are many animal colleges available to go to. You can also volunteer at animal shelters to learn about animals.
Animal league in new York does not harm animals they just take care and sell no kill
It is difficult to give an accurate answer - many hundreds of thousands of animals are put to sleep each year, but the number will vary from country to country. "Too many" is my personal answer, as too many pets are being bred from, which can produce animals with poor health and temperaments, or people owning pets but are ignorant to the animal's needs, so will put them to sleep or put into shelters, where most are put to sleep in order to create more room for new animals being brought in.
