anywhere from about 600 calories to about a 1000 calories. It depends on your weight, obviously the heavier you are the more calories you will burn. however, dont consider it a work out, that is about the same amount of calories you would burn just sitting on the couch. The calories being "burnt" reflect, for the most part, the standard amount of energy you body requires just to keep your lights on and organs operating.
it depends on your weight and your walking speed. By physics, the heavier the weight, the more calories you burn and the faster you walk, the more calories you burn. I think typically people burn 60-80cal/mile walking so if you are walking at about 3.5mph at the minimal calorie burn.... 7700/60= 128.33 miles/3.5= 36.66 hours
The ONLY way someone can lose weight is to burn more calories than you consume in one day...the average female eats 1200-1400 calories a day and sitting in the office or just standing up will burn calories but not as many as when you are active , exercising burn 5x the calories than doing nothing at all. so the more calories burnt the less weight.
in a typical school day you burn... -120 calories an hour sitting -60 calories an hour sleeping -500 calories an hour running -140 calories an hour standing -300 calories an hour walking so... in an eight-hour school day you burn... about 7 hours sitting= 840 calories about 30 minutes standing (give or take)= 70 about 30 minutes walking= 150 so in total of an average school day you burn... ******1060 calories on AVERAGE******** (in school)…
