It doesn't work that way. Your calorie burn depends on your age, weight, muscle mass and whether or not you are already in top physical shape. There's no general "how many calories can I burn" answer for running, walking, cycling, etc. You can find estimates and find that some activities burn more calories than others, but everyone burns calories differently. ~ T
Depends on how hard and how long you ride. Push hard and you can burn around 800 cal/hour. Coast and relax and you're down to maybe 250.
For average-paced cycling, the typical person burns about 100 calories every 45 minutes.
It completely depends. There are so many outside/environmental and personal factors that play a part in the number of calories you can/will burn cycling.
For instance, are you climbing a lot of hills? Is it windy out? Are you riding slow, or fast? Are you racing or simply cruising along the local bike path?
Not only that but you have to think about your own physique. Are you overweight, underweight? What's your age, height...all this plays a role in the number of calories you'll burn cycling.
All that being said, and with all things being considered equal, a 160 lb person riding for 60 minutes at a speed of 12-14 mph would burn somewhere around 634 calories. Ride a little faster and you'll end up burning around 750 calories.
Cycling rocks. It's good for you and the environment. Everyone should be doing it.
depends how fast/hard you can go, but a well trained cyclist can easily burn 1000kal/hr for 3 or 5hrs at a time
on a more recreational level about 500kcal/hr taking it what I would call V easy, but most people would call moderate if not trained.
Some years back Bicycling Magazine asked a variant of this question (actually, how many calories per mile) and a laboratory set out to find an answer. Because so many variables factor in, the lab used middling quantities. So the cyclist in the test was a 150 - pound male, and he rode an average road bike at a middling speed of 15 mph, on a flat paved road, with no measurable wind, and the bike was carrying no additional gear such as panniers, lights, etc. The result was 33 calories per mile. At 15 mph that means 8.2 calories per minute. Changing weight, speed or other conditions would change the calorie burn, obviously.
Depends on a lot of things, but mainly how hard you hit it. I'd get something like 12-15 cals/minute. But 8-12 might be a more average value.
It depends on your weight too. The more you weigh, the more you burn.
How many calories burned in an hour on an exercise bike depends on the resistance setting and how fast the person using it is cycling. One can burn up to 650 calories per hour, but actual calories burned can be less on a low resistance setting.
Unfortunately, there is no simple answer to this question. How many calories you burn will depend on how quickly you are cycling and the resistance level you have set on your bike. Try the calculator at caloriesperhour.com or purchasing a bike that will measure this information for you.
It depends on a lot of things, but mainly how hard and how long you're riding. Can be anything between 300-1200 calories/hour.
The amount of calories and individual can burn usually depends on their weight. A person of an average of 150 lbs. can burn almost 46 calories per 10 minute.
Depends on how hard you ride. If you're only pootling around - not many. If you're getting sweaty and winded, maybe 100.
It depends on your weight.
about 150.
I burn 910 calories in 1 hour of hard cycling according to my Garmin.
Cycling at about 100 RPM, one can burn close to 107 calories in about 15 minutes.
Cardio vascular exercise such as cycling, rowing, running! These should be completed at high intensity for maximum calorie burn!
Lots of exercise, such as walking, jogging, cycling, not-too-extreme sports etc. Chewing gum (sugar-free gum is recommended) can also help you burn down calories.
You Burn 100 CALORIES But when you smile the strongest you burn 1,000 Calories
how many calories did I burn doing cardio

Tomatoes do not burn calories.
