How many calories should a 13 year old girl consume daily if she is 5 feet 5 inch and weighs 166 pounds?

I used to be as heavy as you, and your age, but really, don't count calories. its just time-consuming and pointless. just, eat healthier. what i did was join a tough sport that they work you hard in- like judo or karate or even basketball if you like. then don't drink soda or juice daily. its ok if you have like 2 or 3 cans of soda or cups of juice a week, but drink as much water as possible. and don't cancel out all junk food, just cut down on it a lot. like, i started trying to loose weight a little bit before Halloween. what i did was instead of eating like 10 pieces of candy 2-3 times a day like i used to, i only allowed myself 2-3 pieces a day. and school food is the worst. try to bring in your own food, or stay away from the pizza and other unhealthy choices they have. i usually eat a yogurt or salad for lunch from school, and then once i get home eat something small like a lunchable or a sandwich or something.

so in summary, just eat/drink healthier and exercise more. soon enough you'll loose weight and get to your goal. in 2 and a half months, I've already lost 16 pounds.
