Your age and gender have nothing to do with your recommended caloric intake. There is no general answer to this question. You should be consuming enough calories that you a) have enough energy to survive, and b) maintain a stable [[body mass index]]. That caloric intake should be approximately 50% from carbohydrates, 25% from proteins, and 25% from fats.

It depends on the woman, many factors will have to determine her recommended daily caloric intake. Such as the amount of exercise she gets, height, medical issues, etc. Every woman is different and so are her needs.

you can use the really accurate formula from Harris-Benedict:

1)first of all find your BMR(basal metabolic rate)..in other words the amount of calories you'd spend staying all day in bed..

men :BMR = 66 + [13.7 x weight(kg)] + [5 x height(cm)] - [6.8 x age(years)]

->WOMEN :BMR = 655 + [9.6 x weight(kg)] + [1.8 x height(cm)] - [4.7 x age(years)]

where,

weight in kgs = weight in lbs / 2.2

height in cm = height in inches / 0.394

2)find your daily caloric needs for maintenaning your weight depending on haw active you are..

daily calories intake for maintenance = BMR x activity level

where activity level,

a)sedentary,little or no excercise = 1.2

b)light excercise,sports 1-2 times per week = 1.375

c) moderate excercise, sports 3-5 times per week = 1.55

d) hard excercise, sports 6-7 times per week = 1.725

e) very hard excercise, double daily excercise = 1.9

you can decrease/increase you daily calories intake for maintenance, whether you want to lose/gain weight....try about 500 kcals...

It is very hard to answer this one without knowing one's weight and height. TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) which shows your daily caloric needs and your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate), which shows how much calories your body burns without you doing anything are both only countable if the age, weight and height are previously known. If you want to count this for yourself, I would suggest you do a little Google search on "TDEE Calculator" to find the answer for this one.
