Their are about 7500 cheetahs left in the wild, and they all live in the African savanna.

Actually, not quite all live in the plains of Africa. The critically endangered Asiatic cheetah is hanging on in Iran, and possibly a few in Pakistan. Total population of less than 100 animals.

Cheetahs don't live in any rain forest. Cheetahs hunt with speed and that doesn't work when there's all those trees around. They need open space to run down their prey.
