it depends...

If the cell is somatic (non-sex cell) the daughter cells each have 46 chromosomes (in humans, this is.) The daughter cells are diploids.

If the cell is a germ cell (sex cell), the daughter cells each have 23 chromosomes (in humans). The daughter cells are haploids.

Remember that at the end of the Mitosis there is only ONE chromatid! this one chromatid will replicate during the interpase to produce a copy (sister ) of that chromatid and we will get sister chromatids. the one chromatid is also called Chromosome before it replicate. So. in the daughter cell there are 46 ( like chromosome and before they replicate) chromatids.

Hope this helps!!!

Through mitosis, regular DNA replication, the same number as the parent. Not every cell has the same number of chromosomes, so this amount varies. However through mieosis, there is half as many chromosomes as the parent.

How many chromosomes does the daughter cell get from the parent cell?

In mitotic cell division, the daughter cells contain the same number of chromosomes as the parent cell. In meiotic cell division, the daughter cells contain half the number of chromosomes as the parent cell.

How many chromosomes in daughter cell does meiosis have?

half chromosomes mather

How many chromosomes will be found in each daughter cell after mitosis?

46 chromosomes will be found in a human daughter cell after mitosis, 23 chromosomes will be found after meiosis.

How many chromosomes does each daughter contain after mitosis if the parent cell had 52 original cell chromosomes?

Each daughter cell will have 52 chromosomes. This is because mitosis produces daughter cells which are genetically identical to the parent cell. Therefore they will have the same number of chromosomes.

How many chromosomes are in each daughter cell following meiosis you?

there should be 23 chromosomes in each daughter.

If a diploid cell containing 28 chromosomes undergoes meiosis how many chromosomes will each daughter cell have?

56 chromosomes

In mitosis how many chromosomes are in each daughter cell?

It depends on the species--humans, for example, will have 46 chromosomes in each daughter cell after mitosis, while a dog will have 78. In mitosis, the number of chromosomes in each daughter cell is equal to the number of chromosomes in the interphase parent cell.

How many chromosomes will each daughter cell have?

It depends on the type of cell division. In mitosis, 2 daughter cells with the same number of chromosomes as the parent cell are created. In a human, this would be 46 chromosomes. In meiosis, 4 daughter cell with half the number of chromosomes as the parent cell are created. In a human, this would be 23 chromosomes.

If the parental cell has 24 chromosomes how many does each daughter cell have at the completion of meiosis II?

The answer is that the daughter cell would have 8 chromosomes.Daughter cells always have half the number of chromosomes the parent cells have. But the normal number of chromosomes is parent have 46 chromosomes and daughter have 23 chromosomes.

How many chromosomes are in the daughter cell at the end of mitosis?

There are going to be half the amount of the original chromosomes that were in each cell to begin with. So therefore there are going to be 4 chromosomes in each daughter cell at the end of mitosis..Actually there will be 2 chromosomes, in each daughter cell at the end of mitosis!

How many chromosomes are there in each daughter cell after mitosis?

There are 46 chromosomes or 23 pairs of chromosomes in each daughter cell after mitosis. Each daughter cells need 46 or 23 pairs of chromosomes to work properly and survive.

How many chromosomes will each daughter cell have after meiosis occurs?

The new cell will have the same number of chromosomes as the original cell.
