Who is Nessie the Loch Ness monster?

Nessie the Loch Ness Monster is a legendary creature. One day, a woman and her husband were in a car. They drove past Loch Ness, which is a lake. The woman saw a shape coming out of the water. She told other people that it was as big as an elephant. The news started spreading, and soon the monster became known around the world. And lots of people started to see sightings of the monster, too. Then one day, a doctor, drove past Loch Ness and saw a shape out of the water. He took a photo. THAT made the monster seem almost real. The Loch Ness Monster got it's name because it's spotted in the Loch Ness Lake. To get to the Loch Ness lake, you would have to go to Europe. Now the picture that the doctor took made the monster become famous. Then someone addmited that he had made a model of the monster. The model was just 1 foot long, although from the doctor's place where he saw it, it seemed huge. So it was a hoax. And other sighting appered to be hoaxes, too. And soon there was little evidence that the Loch Ness Monster really exists. But it is still a famous monster. Oh, and Nessie? It's another name for the Loch Ness Monster. I don't know how it got THAT name.

Is the loch ness monster a greek myth?

The Loch Ness Monster isn't a Greek myth. Loch Ness is a large lake in Scotland and so the monster is a Scottish myth, not Greek. Reports of a large eel or snake like animal have been made for hundreds of years. No one has proven that the monster exists, so it remains a myth. Of course, you must also remember that no one has proven that it doesn't exist either. So, you have to ask: Is it more than a myth?

Description of Loch Ness Monster?

Loch Ness Monster: The Loch Ness Monster-sometimes called Nessie-is a creature or group of creatures said to live in Loch Ness, a deep freshwater loch (lake near the city of Inverness in northern Scotland. Nessie is generally categorized as a lake monster. Along with Bigfoot and Yeti, Nessie is perhaps the best-known mystery in crypto zoology. Most mainstream scientists and other experts find current evidence supporting Nessie unpersuasive, and regard such reports as hoaxes or misidentification of mundane creatures. Most accounts of the monster's appearance, including historical ones indicate a creature resembling the long-extinct plesiosaur. Actual fossil evidence for this Mesozoic creature shows it to have been physically large with a long neck and tiny head, with flippers for propulsion. The alleged connection of this creature with the Loch Ness monster has made it popular topic in the field of cryptozoology. However, most scientists suggest that the idea that the Loch Ness Monster is a remnant of the Mesozoic era is highly unlikely - there would need to be a breeding colony of such creatures for there to have been any long-term survival, an coupled with the fact that plesiosaurs needed to surface to breathe, this would result in far more frequent sightings than have actually been reported. Many biologists also argue Loch Ness is not large or productive enough to support even a small family of these creatures. Moreover the Loch was created as the result of geologically recent glaciations and was frozen solid during recent ice-ages.The Loch Ness Monster is a myth, it has never been seen, all the alleged sightings, photos and film have been scientifically proven to be either fake or of something other than a 'monster'

Actually, if you read and do your research a lot of the photo's are fake, not real, made up. If you read how people described the "monster" it the same description of a swimming elephant, though the pictures are good they are not real, so don't believe everything you hear. It is likely that the Loch Ness monster does not exist. Though in the most consistent descriptions the loch ness monster most closely matches the deception of a plesiosaur. Plesiosaurs were marine reptiles that existed in the time of the dinosaurs but were not dinosaurs themselves.
