The first gas chamber at Auschwitz was at the main camp (Auschwitz I). The rest were at Birkenau (Auschwitz II), starting with the "bunkers," known as the Little Red House and Little White House. Finally, in 1943, the four large facilities were completed at Birkenau, for a total of seven known such facilities in the Auschwitz system.

===========
there were 5 crematoria, initially with one gas chamber in each. 4 were purpose built, one was converted from a mortuary (this one was not in the extermination camp, but in the Auschwitz concentration camp, as was the one in the punishment block)
there were also two other buildings that were converted into gas chambers, each (if memory serves) had two gas chambers in each. Also cell 9 in the punishment block was used as a gas chamber during the experimental phase.
When Treblinka became operational in July 1942, it initially had one building housing three gas chambers. However, during the liquidation of the Warsaw Ghetto, it quickly became apparent to the Nazis that this was insufficient to kill the deportees as rapidly as they wanted. Construction soon began on a second building which housed anywhere from six to ten new chambers (there is some discrepancy among the surviving Sonderkommando regarding the number.) Treblinka thus had between nine and thirteen gas chambers between late 1942 and August 1943, when the entire camp was dismantled.
there were 7 gas chambers in the Holocaust most of them could fit hundreds of people in them. the people after they die would get buried the dead people then late spring they would dig them up and burn them. then the ashes would be thrown all over the ground.
There were gas chambers situated in eight different buildings, some had more than one room used as a gas chamber. Though not all of these were in operation at the same time.
there were eight different structures used as gas chambers at Auschwitz. Some rooms within these building were modified during this period.
