I am not sure you would find "hobos," since that term is somewhat outdated. It has generally been used when referring to men who rode the railroads from city to city, or men who were transient beggars-- they were also called "tramps." But you certainly would find some homeless men and women in Brighton, as well as in most cities across the USA. Brighton is a suburb of Boston, and many college students live there, as do many people who are working-class; there are also some beautiful and affluent parts of Brighton. But yes, you will find some people living in poverty, who beg on the streets or who struggle to find housing. I have not seen exact numbers, however. The place where there is a larger number of homeless is Boston itself, and there are several homeless shelters that try to serve that population.
