Titanic could hold 46,000 tons of weight. Lifeboats don't way more then a few hundred pounds. If Titanic had 75 lifeboats, each one carrying 40 people, then 3000 people could have lived, titanic had a little more then 2200.
Titanics lifeboats were estimated to carry as many as 70 people but the last one, lifeboats D fully had about 75 after taking off passengers from overturned lifeboat B.
It was built to have 32 lifeboats but only had 20.

But because the extra boats would have ''cluttered'' the promenade deck, some were removed. Titanic ended up making her voyage with 16 lifeboats instead (12 regular and 4 collapsible)

a couple of children and women survived by going on life boats
There were over 10,000 light bulbs on Titanic.
