The battleship USS New Jersey wasn't at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. She wasn't commissioned until May of 1943.
But, she's the only Vietnam War veteran battleship! New Jersey fired nearly 6,000 sixteen inch and 15,000 five inch shells at enemy targets from the gunline off the coast of Vietnam. The USS New Jersey is also history's last all gunned battleship to have fought a war.
The attack resulted in 2402 people losing their lives. Another 1282 people were injured during the attacks.

It was irreparable and is still submerged in the harbor to this day.
Three U.S. ships that never sailed after the attack on Pearl Harbor include the USS Arizona, USS Oklahoma, and USS Utah. These ships were heavily damaged or sunk during the attack and were never repaired or put back into active service. They ultimately became memorials to the lives lost during the attack.
There were present at Pearl Harbor 8 cruisers, 2 heavy cruisers and 6 light cruisers when the attack came. Three cruisers were damaged but none were destroyed.
The USS Arizona and Utah are still in Pearl Harbor with their memorials however the USS Oklahoma was later risen, sold for scrap, and was under tow to California in 1947 when it sank. A memorial to the USS Oklahoma was dedicated in Pearl Harbor in 2007.
Ever since it was sunk in the Japanese attack upon Pearl Harbor in December of 1941, the 'U.S.S. Arizona' has remained lying in the shallow waters of the Hawaiian harbor. Now a much-revered national memorial, the sunken battleship is a popular tourist site and everlasting remembrance of the events of December 7th in 1941 -- and all that followed.

At last count, two: Battleships USS Arizona and USS Utah (redesignated as a target/training ship).

Two of them: Arizona & Utah.
US Battleships Arizona, Utah, and Oklahoma. USS Utah had been re-designated as a training/target ship at the time of the attack. Arizona & Utah still rest on the harbor's bottom (with US Crewmen still within their hulls); Oklahoma rests on the bottom of the Pacific Ocean between Hawaii and California, after sinking while under tow to the scrapers (in California).
You've got it reversed; two battleships remain on the harbors bottom; USS Arizona and USS Utah, both battleships, but Utah had been redesignated a training/target ship. Both battleships still retain the bodies of crewmen lost during the attack and are tombs for those US Sailors.
first answer:The ONLY US Navy ships that were not at Pearl Harbor, were the ones that mattered! The US Aircraft Carriers. Had those carriers been present during the attack; history would have been DRASTICALLY ALTERED!second more correct answer:A large part of the US Pacific Fleet was not at Pearl Harbor on the morning that it was attacked. All three Fleet Aircraft Carriers in the Pacific were not at Pearl Harbor. One of the nine Battleships in the Pacific was not at Pearl Harbor.Eleven of the 13 Heavy Cruisers in the Pacific were not at Pearl Harbor.Five of the 11 Light Cruisers in the Pacific were not at Pearl Harbor.37 of the 68 Destroyers in the Pacific were not at Pearl Harbor.47 of the 51 Submarines in the Pacific were not at Pearl Harbor. The ships that were at sea, were primarily involved in operations to reinforce Midway & WakeIslands, escort convoys to/from the Philippines, or were on patrol in waters not far from Hawaii.
All were recovered except for the Arizona, Oklahoma, and Utah.
