How many men are in one troop?

An Armored Cavalry Troop during the Vietnam War could have up to 200 men; manning the M551 Sheridan and the M113 ACAV, mortars and infantry tracks. A standard leg outfit (straight infantry, no tracks) had about 186 men; a tank company, strictly Patton tanks, had about 86 men (17 tanks to a company; 4 crewmen per tank).
A mech battalion had about 900 to 1200 men.
