Somewhere around 1-3mg's. Ativan comes in .5,1,and 2mg tablets. Ativan is a benzo very similar to klonopin,xanax,and valium.

My Doctor has had me on Tramadol and Ativan for about a year now. I have had no problems so far. I am on 50 mg. of Tramadol taken up to 4 times a day if needed, and 1 mg. of Ativan taken up to 4 times a day if needed.

Xanax also works faster and lasts a shorter period than Ativan. So it is logical to say that Xanax is more "powerful" because of its potency and rapid action.

I have taken 1 mg Ativan with Nyquil. I felt fine. I didn't notice a difference. Maybe slightly drowsier. Personally a waste of Ativan since you have to get that by prescription.

Yes, it would cause respiratory depression, that is unless you weigh 1000 pounds and have a bowl of benzodiazepines for breakfast each morning. 2 mg of ativan makes me sedated and I have a tolerance to the stuff, so 50 times that dose... yeah you'd just stop breathing.

No worries. I have taken 2 mg Ativan for anxiety, in combination with benadryl for my allergies. Might make you a bit (or a lot) sleepier than taking either one without the other. That's about it. Go for it.

i took 90 mg of ativan. didn't kill me. or i wouldn't be writing this. i wouldn't recommend anybody to try to though. if you're trying to commit suicide. look at other ways first. this way wont kill you. I've done tried it twice. once with just 45 and the other when i got out of the hospital i took another 90. so there were 135 mg in my system
