In Canada, I would say approximately 9 in 10 students between the ages of 15 and 19 own a cell phone. As a Student Senator and TELUS Mobility Sales Representative, I can safely say the majority of students or teenagers do use their cellphone as a major component of day to day life in planning home, work and social events, as well as leisure and emergency communications.
