a quarter tank is about 3 gallons
3 gallons will move my truck about 15 miles
and my daughter's tinny car about 90 miles
and my grandson's motorcycle about 300 miles.
A quarter of 17 gallons = 4.25 gallons
5 Gallons
My silverado has a 25 gallon tank, so if you divided it by 4, I would say 6 and 1/4 gallon in a quarter of a tank.
it gets 26 miles to a gallon tank
29 miles per gallon on a 25 gallon tank is 25*29 = 725 miles per tank. So one [partial] fill will be enough.
depends how many miles to the gallon the car goes.
That will be 630 miles to a tank full of gas / 42 gallons.
You need to know the capacity of your tank - which, in your case, would be in gallons and the fuel efficiency of your vehicle - which would be in miles per gallon. The capacity or volume of a tank cannot be measured in miles per gallon.
half a mile
Depends on the fuel mileage of the vehicle the tank is mounted in.
probably a good 280 miles simple math its a 15 gallon tank
Well, you take how many gallons there are in your tank and how many estimated miles per gallon your vehicle can have and take your miles per gallon times the gallons in your tank. Your average car should get at least 230 miles for all your tank space. Your average mile per gallon in my estimate would be around 25.
