The 97 Honda Prelude motor (h22a) will fit into a 2000 civic with custom mounts (available to purchase online), however you will need the h22a transmission, shift-linkage, axles, and ecu (full swap). The h22a motor will not work with the stock d-series transmission.
There is actually 4 motor mounts...i don't know if its different between v6 and 4cyl, or coupe and sedan but i have a 2000 Honda accord coupe v6 and it has 4 motor mounts...a rear, front, left and right Added by tehJuice1: I have that car and was told there were three mounts, Front Engine Mount (by Front Radiator) Left Mount (By Timing Cover) Rear Mount (By Fire Wall) . Hope someone can clarify because I saw sets of mounts that were 3pc for 2000 Accords and 4 pcs for 1999 Accords.
