I just installed the mounts on my 2000 Impala (and I think the model's mounts didn't change with mines versus yours) and there were 3 mounts. 1 on the passenger side of car (right behind the oil filter), the transmission mount (right above the axle on the driver side), and you also have a torque strut mount that's on top of the engine, as soon as you open the hood of the car).

They are underneath the wells of the car. those are the bottom ones and the top ones are located under the hood, connecting to the front frame of the car and to the motor.
