There will either be 2 or 4 sensors. It depends on the emission package that is on the vehicle. The only places these are located is one or two before the catalytic convertor and one or two after the catalytic convertor. I imagine that the V-6 has only two. 1 before and 1 after the Catalytic conv.

There is one, in front of the catalytic converter.
Two. One before, and one after catalytic converter.

A 2007 Durango has four oxygen sensors.
The oxygen sensors are screwed into the exhaust pipe near the catalytic converter.
There are two oxygen sensors in the exhaust behind the engine.
Yes. A 3.9 v6 engine from a 1995 Dodge Dakota will fit into a 2000 Dodge Dakota with a 3.9 v6 engine. You will have to swap the intake and exhaust manifolds along with all sensors and fuel rail though.
Screwed into the exhaust pipe, just behind the engine.Screwed into the exhaust pipe, just behind the engine.
You can not bypass it. The oxygen sensors are required for a proper running engine.
There are four total oxygen sensors. One before and one after the catalytic converter on each side of the engine.
