Not only does it let you know how many pages of mail you can mail for one stamp, it breaks it down by the type of envelope you use. As of 03/2009 it is 1-5 sheets of 20 pound copy paper in a #10 envelope or 1 ounce
1-4 sheets of 20 pound copy paper in a 6x9 envelope or 1 ounce Total envelope must be less than 1/4 inch thick.
If you don't want to buy exact postage you can us 2 stamps for up to 3 ounces with the envelope less than 1/4 inch thick.
In a #10 envelope that is 17 sheets of 20 pound copy paper In a 6x9 envelope that is 16 sheets of 20 pound copy paper Keep in mind the number of sheets is approximate and paper weight will make a difference!
Unless the paper is very thin/light, it takes 2 stamps. 1 stamp can usually cover about 6 pages.
It depends on the type of postage, the weight, where it is going and the type of transport
It typically takes one stamp to mail around 5 pages, so you would need around 4 stamps to mail 20 pages. However, the exact number of stamps needed may also depend on the weight and destination of the mail.
Probably no more than 5. Standard 20 lb. paper, 8.5 x 11, weighs 0.16 oz. While 6 pages would only weigh 0.96 oz., you also have to include the weight of the envelope, which is likely more than 0.04 oz. Estimating the weight of the envelope as the same as a page, 5 pages plus an envelope is probably less than an ounce.
today, 1 envelope + 5 sheets of paper + the stamp = forever stamp
One to three pages, depending on the weight of the paper.
