How many pictures can a 1GB memory card hold in a 5.0 mega pixel camera?
how many pictures can 16 GB memory card hold in a 14.7 mega pixel camera?
1GB MEMORY CARD CAN HOLD 150 TO 200 SNAP IN A 13.6 MEGA PIXEL CAMERA.
A camera with this pixel setting will have more room, but the images may not be as crisp as ones with a bigger pixel count. You can fit approximately 200 pictures of this kind on a 2 GB memory card.
See the Question: How many pictures on 4GB memory card in 10.2 mega pixel digital camera? (http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_many_pictures_on_4GB_memory_card_in_10.2_mega_pixel_digital_camera )
It will hold up to 1,164 8 mega pixel images. However, the settings on the camera can be changed so that the camera takes pictures of a different size. The same memory card can hold over 4,000 2 mega pixel images. Changing these settings will affect the quality and size of the pictures you take.
The amount of pictures on a 27 MB memory card can be affected by the lighting the size and the type of camera. In this situation you can expect to fit about 70 pictures on the card.
It depends what pixel camera you have...be more specific!!
at least 340 or more
MegaPixels GigaBytes Capacity (Pictures) 12.1 2GB 525 Pictures
This site has a chart that tells you how many pictures an SD card can hold as per mega pixel. Please see related link below!

It matters how much will one picture take.
About 6-8 photos.
About 4000, maymbe a little more
JPEG- about 2500 RAW- about 250
If your camera is at the highest settings probably about 8 pictures. If it's at standard or lower settings I would say about 16. You definitely go ahead and buy a higher capacity memory card if you can. A 4 GB memory card is fairly cheap now and would hold over 1100 7.2 mega-pixel photographs.
I've just bought a Sony produo card and I get 2455 pictures at max resolution. Let me know what you have
It is recommended with a camera that is this sharp you have a minimum of a 1 gigabyte memory card. On this card you can fit approximately 56 pictures depending on the lighting and subject involved.
The content of the picture and the "Quality" level you are using affects how many pictures a memory card will hold. A 1 GB card in a 6 MP camera will hold something like 450 pictures on medium quality and 225 pictures on high quality.
Most of my pictures (10 Mega pixel camera) weigh in at an average of 3.5 Mb so I can get about 40 pictures on a 128 Mb card. i have a sd card that is a 128 MB card and i did the math and figured out that it is about 172 pictures
There is not an exact number for this. See related link.
Roughly 40 at full resolution. Memory is cheap. Splurge fifteen bucks and get a 2 gig.
Roughly 200-250 pictures based on an average picture size of 4-5 MB.
There is no absolute answer. It depends on the memory card capacity and what camera you are using. This is because of the way the camera saves the pictures on to the camera. Depending on camera type, you will most likely get around 300-500 pictures on a memory card.
In the neighborhood of 200. The number will vary because the size of the image and the quality can vary according to the camera settings.
On an 8MB card you could probably get one or two pictures, however if you meant a 8GB card you should be able to store around 1300-1400 photos.
It depends on many factors, like quality setting the camera is on, the format that camera shoots in, and the specific camera and card. It would be helpful to have more information. Your camera should show the number of pictures remaining. However, Lexar specifies 1998: http://www.lexar.com/digfilm/capacity_chart.html
there will only be pictures on the camera if you took any pictures before you put the card in.
The content of the picture and what "Quality" level you are using affects how many pictures a memory card will hold. A 2 GB card in a 7.2 MP camera will hold something like 800 pictures on medium quality and 400 pictures on high quality.
Depends on the camera and what settings you're using to shoot with. I'd ballpark it at around 10,000-20,000.
No. The photos are saved to the memory card, so if you remove the card, there are no photos in the camera.
Approximately 70. Remember that on a 512MB card (or any card, for that matter), not all the space is usable, as some is used for formating.
How many pictures on 4GB memory card in 7.1 megapixel digital camera?
That greatly depends on the resolution of the camera as well as resolution of the size pictures. 4gb hold 999 pictures on low resolution, but only about 125 on high resolution with a 10mb pixel camera. Your camera should instruct on how to change the resolution as well as giving an approximation on how much space the pictures will take up.
At 2mp's for 1gb, your memory card can hold at least 1,500 pictures. I had a 4mp camera with a 512 and that card holds over 700 photos. P.S. Why don't you start looking for another camera. the costs have come way down and an affordable camera costs about 175-300. If you would like a point-and-shoot camera, go with Canon. If you would like a lightweight ultra-telophoto zoom go with Kodak or Panasonic. If you… Read More
well, pictures need to be stored SOMEWHERE on your camera, right? just like how our memories store information, memory cards store the pictures you take. a camera without a memory card is about as good as no camera at all.
you can download them soo easy by send them to the memory card but if you want them to work in the camera i think you shuld send only the pictures which has taken with the camera not other pictures cuz the are not gana work.
The amount of pictures that any memory card can hold depends on the settings of the camera that it is in. In general a 14.8 MB memory card may hold 120 pictures.
How many pictures a memory card can hold depends on display settings and the camera brand. Most cameras will hold 800-850 pictures on a 2GB memory card.
this is because better quality pictures are bigger in size so if you turn down the quality then you'll be able to save more pictures
Assuming you're talking about the ST67 digital camera - it's used to store a limited number of pictures. In the case of digital photography, Its always left to the user as to hoe much memory they want in the camera. I have a Fujifilm S2750 digital camera - which has 23MB on-board memory. I use a 2GB SD card - which gives me approximately 830 pictures at 12 Mega-pixel resolution.
No,because the camera cannot even take a picture without the memory card
You can put about 2300+ 12 pixel JPG pictures on an 8 gigabyte SD memory card. But, JPG images vary a lot in size on disk, so there's no way to know exactly, it depends on what you are taking pictures of. You can get many more than 2300 pictures of a plane white wall. An many less pictures of a basket of multi color variegated marbles. Also, an 8GB memory card only has room… Read More
take your memory card out of your camera and there should be a place for it in your computer
It depends on a lot of factors, but the basic Idea is that the lower the resolution and the higher the compression, the more pictures you will fit on the card; the reverse is obviosly true as well. So there is quite a large range depending on your particular camera. But it could be a range from around 300 - 15,500 pictures for the 2gb card and half that for the 1GB card. It really… Read More
My Fujifilm Finepix digi-cam gives me 640 shots at 12 Mega-pixels on a 2MB card. After doing some quick conversions, I reckon you should expect around 200 shots from a 5 Mega-pixel cam with a card that size.
Depends how big your storage card is and what settings you're using to take pictures.
Yes It will delete the pictures
It would depend on what type of files the pictures are being saved in and how much compression is applied to the camera. RAW files are the biggest. A 4GB card can hold about 150~200 14MP pictures. JPEG files are smaller, and has a very wide range of compression levels. A 4GB card can hold about 700 pictures if its mildly compressed, or over 3000 pictures if it's heavily compressed (and/or resized).
