We call them regions in Scotland and I belive there are around 15 of them.None. There are about 15 regions though.
The Lowlands and the Highlands
Scotland is divided into 32 council areas that are each governed by unitary authorities. The country is comprised of other administrative divisions, that are handled by joint boards of the councils.
The United Kingdom has four regions. England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
