This question needs more information. Weight/Height? You should never have to starve youself. Depending on your weight and height you can get away with eating around 1700 calories per day with daily exercise you will lose weight. Unless you are 'Obese' then you probably won't lose 20 pounds in 2 months. I would expect a 1-2lb fatloss per week without going catabolic (losing muscle).

it all depends on what diet you go on,how many times you exercise and how much you are willing to push your self to lose. lets say you eat less and exercise daily you are for sure to lose 10 pounds a month and since there are 2 months of summer that means you can lose 20 pounds over the summer months
