Hi, Your question is a good one but I have to tell you the truth of things in that you have not given me much to go on with the information you've supplied.
The BTU or tonnage rating and type of unit you are using.
Also the type of refrigerant and condenser design.
Does it have a reserve capacity tank???
Is it air cooled or water cooled
what size refrigerant lines and how long are they this list of stuff could go on and on and on: I will not do that to you.
I will assume your talkin about say a typical home central cooling system with a typical design and installation and give you a ball park.
2 to 4 ton R-22 home central air cooling units with part outside and part inside will be roughly 10 to 15 lbs.
A five ton would be a couple lbs more sometimes.
(NOTE) these are ballpark only and their are extremes that sometimes effect this.
It is however good information as to if you are concerned if you fear your A.C. repairman is milkin you for an exorbitant amount that you need some slide scale to reference to for your own consumer protection and decision making. Oh yes!!!!! just in case you got a rascal servicing your system or suspect so anyway. (Refrigerant DOES NOT WEAR OUT & NEED PERIODIC CHANGING in a normal functioning system).
I've worked on system older than I am that have never had a single drop added to them to give you an example. Hope this helps:

That depends on the size of the coils and the length of line in between.
Your 1993 Ford Taurus air conditioning system has a Freon capacity of 5.5 pounds. You should never overfill the air conditioning Freon.
Your air conditioning system holds approximately 5 pounds of Freon. Most recharge kits come with a gauge that will tell you exactly how much Freon to put into the system.
it depends on the size of the unit and how many pounds of freon it takes r-22 is going for 10 to 15 dollars a pound
A 1990 Cadillac Deville air conditioner should hold 46 oz. R12 Freon. This should be verified through the owners vehicle manual.
5.1 Lbs

The average amount of pounds a Chevy Caprice would take is 3 to 4 pounds. Freon is difficult to obtain and you have to know what you are doing to charge a car.
How many pounds refrigerant freon does hyunday electra
1.5 lb of Freon or about 2 an 1/2 12 oz cans.
my guess is 2 pounds
