How many registered gun owners are there in the US?
Gun owners aren't "registered" like cars. One estimate is that there are @ 4 million or so gun owners.

Answer . According to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, there were about 215 million privately owned guns in 1999. The NRA estimates that half of al…l American households (total US population is 294 million) have at least one gun owner. Numbers vary, but estimates are 70-80 million gun owners with 200-250 million guns. There is no way to give a definitive answer. There are millions of guns in the U.S. Some estimates say 80 million households have guns, but since there is no national registration, there is no real way to know.
Texas does not have gun registration.
In most U.S. states, there is no registration.
The question can't be answered. National registration is not required.
The only guns that are registered with the federal government are those that fall under the National FIrearms Act (NFA). For example machine guns, silencers, short barrel rifl…es/shotguns etc. Otherwise check state statutes or local ordinances.
Unless stolen before making it to a retailer, they all are when bought. --- Firearms are not registered when sold by retailers (FFL dealers) unless they are required to b…e registered in a particular state. And the registration is usually done by the local police department in those states. FFL dealers record the buyer's information from form 4473 in their "bound book" and then they are obligated to keep these records for as long as they remain in business and keep their federal firearms license renewed. Gues it all depends on what the OP meant by "registered"
That is a very difficult question to answer for a couple of reason. Only a few states require handgun registration, and there is no federal gun registration. In the few stat…es that do require handgun registration, the information is not generally available to the public.
Basically, no. There are several parts to the answer: if you are in the U.S. most states don't require registration, and there is no federal registration. If you do live in on…e of the few states that do require registration, the information is not normally available to the general public.
Many places don't require it.
To answer that question would require someone to contact all the states, territories and possesions of the US. AFAIK, it has never been done. Your task is further complica…ted by the fact that in MOST states, there is NO requirement to "register" a firearm. No matter what you see on TV. About 5% of mine...And its gonna stay that way...
Depends on what state you are in. In MOST of the US, there IS no requirement to register a gun.
Not really possible to answer, since the question assumes registration of firearms. In MOST of the United States, there is no requirement for registration of firearms (No matt…er what they show on TV). The exception are weapons such as machine guns, short barreled rifles, short barreled shotguns, etc. These have been required to be registered with the Federal BATFE since 1934. For machine guns, there has been ONE murder committed with a registered firearm since 1934. That case involved a police officer that was convicted of murdering his wife.
MOST states do not register guns or gun owners.
No way to answer, since we do not know exactly how many gun owners (male and femal) there are. FWIW, both of my daughters, one granddaughter, and my stepmother own guns.
No. Like most of the US, there is no requirement to register ordinary rifles, shotguns, or handguns in KY.

There are three parts to the answer. 1. In most states in the U.S. there is no such thing as registration for regular guns (regular shotguns, rifles, or handguns). 2. If you… live in one of the few states that requires registration, you generally go to the local police station, but it just depends on the state, but you don't just "become" a registered gun owner. You simply register the gun when you purchase it. 3. If you are talking about class 3 items (silencers, short shotguns, etc), those items are registered federally. You process the paperwork for those when you purchase them also.
