REALLY? CAN SOMEONE ACTUALLY ANSWER THIS?
IMAGINE NOW, HOW MUCH MONEY ARE THESE TRUCKS PAYING IN TAXES TO THE GOVERNMENT THAT SAYS THEY DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY TO FIX THE ROADS WHEN EACH TRUCK IS PAYING ABOUT $100,000 PER YEAR IN ROAD TAXES ALONE!
2000000
It is impossible to know exactly how many semi trucks are on the road in the U.S. It is estimated that there could be anywhere from five million to thirteen million semi trucks on the road in the U.S. on any given day.
850,000
There are over 3.5 million semi truck drivers in the U.S. Some of these own their own trucks and others work for corporation or trucking firms.
19 Billon trucks
daily on the road about 2.5 to 3.5 million maybe 10 times more mostly droped trailers on the factory lots
No real statistics on this are available, and even less so if your definition of "regular trucks" (which I'm assuming to mean box vans, dump trucks, and other straight trucks without trailers) includes vehicles under 26,001 GVWR, which do not include a CDL.
There were approximately 638 Chinooks registered in the US in 2009. There is no official information as to how many are registered in 2013.
This is a highly illegal act, and the policies of this website prohibit us from answering it on here.
There are approximately 250 million registered cars in the U.S. There are probably another 5 million that are stored or just sitting. This is only cars and not trucks and buses.
not enough
Estimates of 15.5 million trucks operate in the U.S.
According to an FMCSA SAFER state query on 6 December 2014, the company has 17,989 power units. Now, bear in mind that this will include any registered vehicle belonging to the company with a GVWR in excess of 10,000 lbs., so that'll include roadside service trucks, mobile cranes, even 15 passenger vans. But you can expect at least 90-95% of those power units to be semi tractors.
