The proper way to exercise is to do several repetitions at once, then rest that set of muscles and do something else. Do 10 sit-ups, then do something else for 10 times, then do 10 more sit-ups and so on until you start feeling tired.
A five year old should not be worried about doing sit ups

Well I just started doing 30 or so sit ups a day so yeah.
I'd say about 40 to 50 sit ups.

.....it depends. In a minute i could do 46. For a day you should do 80. You have to be fit and have muscles.
