Well doing sit-ups just makes your stomach tighter , if you really wanna loose the weight try swimming running or jogging those are the quickest wasy to loose weight . I hoped this answer help :)

Too many for you to consider! Crunches build muscle, and that will actually make your scale show an INCREASE in weight -- even though it's GOOD weight. You will lose FAT by doing cardiovascular exercise. 3,500 calories is equal to one pound. So you'd either have to reduce your weekly/monthly diet by that amount or burn that many calories to lose a pound. Again, crunches aren't going to burn as many calories as running, hiking, walking or swimming. ~ T

A lot! One pound is the equivalent of 3500 calories. If you did push-ups for a full hour, you would burn off about 400 calories. And that is really doing push ups, like doing 3600 push-ups in an hour (the record for an hour is 3877) So you would need to do 8.75 hours worth of push-ups, which would be about 32,000 push-ups.

The world record for non-stop push-ups is 10,507.

Most likely 9,000. I would run instead, you would burn off more calories. Remember, you have to burn 3500. So it would be harder to do squats. Even though they do work. I would run instead! :)

You cannot do sit ups and expect to lose weight. You can do as many as you want and you will not lose a pound. Sit ups are for toning, and who cares how hard your abs are if it's covered by fat?

Do regular exercise-cardio and strength training- and eat healthy.
