Having abs is 100% to do with body fat percentage, you need to lose weight if you want abs to show through (everyone has abs) whether these abs are large and impressive however depends from person to person and you can increase them with ab exercises. But as I said to get these abs to show you need a low 8-12% bodyfat percentage.
i did 50 situps before i went to bed and in a week i had a six pack
you won't get a 6 pack doing situps try doing crunches, start doing about 10 to 20 then move upto 100 or even 1000 when you feel you can do it. you should see a real difference in about 3 or 4 months.
Situps are the best for lower abdomen excersise
There are a lot of abs exercise that give you a six pack. One good excerise is the bicycle situps.
having a six pack is 90% your body fat and 10% muscle. First lower you body fat. Second of all, no one number is good for anyone, and I wouldn't recommend just doing sit ups. Try many different ab workouts and increase your regiment over time.
situps and pushups are best
If you mean a six pack as in abdominal muscles, the only way is exercise.
Four.
You could do 0 and still get a 6 pack. Seriously. 6 packs are not made by excessive repetitions of situps, they are made by losing the body fat behind your already existent abdominal muscles. Therefore, a 6 pack is made by having a good diet and workout which burns fat. You can get a 6 pack without having to do a single sit up as long as you include weightlifting and cardiovascular activities in to your healthy dieted lifestyle.
