As of today, 10-09-2008, for USPS First Class Postage, weight is another controlling factor, not just distance. Assuming a letter weighing under one ounce, i.e. consisting of 5 pages or less of medium-weight paper and nothing else, you can send that puppy anywhere in the continental USA for $0.42. Two ounces will cost $0.59 -- you can find out exactly using this USPS Postage calculator: http://postcalc.usps.gov/
If you are sending a three paged letter it is around three US stamps!!!!

The number of stamps is irrelevant. The cost is dictated by the weight of the letter and the method by which it is transported.
it takes about two to five.
It depends on where you are...If I were sending a letter from where I am....I would use 1 stamp.
1 stamp. 1 stamp for every 1-8 cards. 8 cards or above it's 2 stamps with top loader. it's the same as sending a letter. so it's fine.
When you are sending mail internationally, you use the stamps of the country you're sending FROM, not the country you're sending to.
For a regular letter? Just one.
it will cost $8.50
1 stamp! unless its a big letter
it depends. if you want to send it signed post you will get two stamps if not normally one stamp.
