∙ 11y agoIdaho is divided between two time zones, and they currently observe Daylight Saving Time. Discontinuing the observance of Daylight Saving Time in Idaho was proposed in 2012.
From the 2nd Sunday of March to the 1st Sunday of November, the times in Idaho are UTC - 6 hours (Mountain Daylight Saving Time) south of the Salmon River and UTC - 7 hours (Pacific Daylight Saving Time) north of the Salmon River. During the rest of the year, the times are UTC - 7 hours (Mountain Standard Time) south of the Salmon River and UTC - 8 hours (Pacific Standard Time) north of the Salmon River.
