there was no daily quota, the gas chambers were only in opperation for about half of the time that Auschwitz was open. The main gas chambers were not on-line for much of that time.
At the peak Auschwitz could murder 30,000 in a day, however this number was unsustainable over a long period.
During World War 2 there were approximately 6 million Jews that were killed. Of that number it is believed that around half that (or 3 million) Jews were killed by method of gassing.
The main limitation on the number of gassings was the capacity of the crematoria. At the height of the Holocaust there were about 2-3 gassings a day.
At the beginnning, up to 20 people could be forced into rudimentary gas chambers. Purpose-built rooms were soon made allowing hundreds of victims to be gassed at once.

Gas Chambers was first used in Auschwitz on September 3rd 1941, So between September 1941 and December 1944 (equal to 1,214 Days), In total about 1 Million People were Gassed in Auschwitz, 1 Million / 1,214= 825 people on average were gassed daily.
Many German Jews were sent to Auschwitz. Others were slaughtered in Belarus and the killing fields of Latvia.
not too many, hanging was only used for examples, usually those sentenced to death were shot (and later of course gassed).
It's quite agreed that about 270,000 Jews were deported to Auschwitz in 1943. However numerouse people do say the exact figure is 270,342 Jews were deported to Auschwitz in 1943. ___________ This very low figure needs a source.
Treblinka was almost entirely a death camp for Jews. They were usually gassed on or very shortly after arrival. About 800,000 Jews were slaughtered there. (There was also a small penal camp by the main camp).
Atleast 140,000 Jews died at Auschwitz I.

About 965,000 Jews were murdered at Auschwitz.
2.5 million Jews were gassed at Auschwitz. However, an additional 500,000 were killed from various diseases and starvation/dehydration. Of course this number is somewhat controversial, as the Germans tried to hide what they did at the end of the war.
about 900,000
6,000 a day
it would probably depend on the size of the hut and who they were gassing!
