There is no limit to the number of times you can be married in the United States. However, the law in every state is that you can only be married to one person at a time. If you wish to remarry, you must obtain a divorce from your present spouse. Any subsequent marriage would be invalid if you have not obtained a divorce.

How many times can you get married in Texas?

There are not laws which stipulate how many times a person may marry, although one should be absolutely certain that any previous marriage has been legally terminated. It is always a good idea to keep copies of all legal procedures that one does during their lifetime, birth certificates, SS cards and correspondence, court orders of any type, and so forth.
