There is a 1-8000 or so chance of finding a shiny charmander. once I found in it in about 200 soft resets, another time it was about 7000 times.
there is not a set number if you really want it just keep goin till you get it
let your luck answer that question.
a shiny pokemon is VERY rare. and i mean VERY!
all based on luck.
It is all luck. It is a 1/8000(something) chance to get one. It could to you 5 tries to 10,000 tries. Good luck trying.
The shiny charmander code has closed sadly, but you can get one by trading in the trading center. Say you want charmander and put shiny on YES. Find the one you want and put a trade request. If they say yes, its yours.
Black Charizard is just a shiny charizard so you would have to get a shiny Charmander by cheating or you can put leaf green in the back and send your Charmander to Diamond and erase your file and do it again. Sometimes when you send Pokemon from Game Boy to Diamond then it will turn out shiny. A way to get a shiny charelemander in FR/LG is to restart the entire FR/LG game over and save in front of the pokeballs. take the Pokemon and check it's picture in the Pokemon menu. if it is shiny, save and transfer to Diamond. if not soft reset and try again. Only other way is to get charmander egges form ditto & charizard in daycare. Hatch by traveling cycling road. Both methods have same chance of getting a shiny (1 in about 8000)
Congratulations, you've caught a rare Shiny Pokemon! Shiny Pokemon are rare to find, and I've heard from some people they're more powerful than normal, but I'm not so sure about that. I once caught a green and pink golbat, and some people are even able to get Shiny starters, like a yellow Charmander that eventually evolves into a black Charizard!
The only way you can get a shiny charmander is to breed it, or replay the moment you obtain the charmander constantly redo the moment until you get one....
Pokemon are determined to be either shiny or normal when you first meet them either when they hatch from their egg or you see them for the first time in the wild. Since charizard do not appear in the wild naturally in Emerald, you will need to hatch a lot of charmander until you find a shiny one. After that you just need to evolve that charmander into a charizard.
Answer In order to get a Shiny Charizard on Pokemon: Fire Red, the way I did it is reload the game over and over until you get a shiny Charmander. It takes many times because the chances are very low, save in front of charmander where you pick your starter and prepare for many resets like over 1000 tries.

381rm1n4 - Shiny Charmander - v.2.8 VERSION 2.8 ONLY
You can't catch charmander. You have to receive it as a starter in Red, Green, Blue, FireRed or Leafgreen or get it from the person in Pokemon yellow. Whether or not it's shiny is up to luck. You just have to restart the game over and over (or save right before you pick your Pokemon) and receive the charmander over and over until you get one that's shiny. Chances are really low, though, so good luck.
Start new games until you get one, use a cheating device, hack the game, or have a friend trade his/her Shiny Charmander.
Yes you can trade any Pokemon even a shiny charmander for a non shiny blastois as long as it meets the requirments that the other trainer wants and you want but other wise good question
no but. save it before you get your Pokemon (bulbasaur, squirtle or charmander) summary the Pokemon if u don't get shiny try again
In the current generation of Pokemon games, the chances of encountering a shiny Pokemon are slightly more than one in every four thousand encounters. The best chance of obtaining a shiny Charmander would be through breeding. It will take many tries, but eventually one of the eggs produced by breeding a Charizard and a Ditto should result in a shiny Charmander.
