The word saint is not used in The Bible.
Some feel that this word is a translation of the Greek word hagios which denotes someone who is sanctified, or deemed holy.
However, the etymology of the word "saint" shows that it started to be used in the 1100's as an adjective of those whom the Catholics had deemed as holy or canonized, utilizing the latin word for "holy" or "sacred".
In the 1300's the word seemed to transform into a noun.
So "Saints" are Catholic created words.
Since the last book of the Bible was written in 96 C.E., and Catholicism was not established yet, the word saint could not have been included in the Bible.
