The amount of blood your heart pumps is called Cardiac Output (CO) and is typically measured in Liters Per Minute (LPM). Cardiac Output (LPM) = H.R. x S.V. / 1000 H.R. - Heart Rate (beats per minute) S.V. - Stroke Volume (mL) - the volume of blood pumped during one cardiac cycle Normal resting CO is in the range of 4-6 LPM (1-1.5 Gallons Per Minute - GPM). A highly conditioned endurance athlete may generate a CO of up to 30 LPM (7.5 GPM).

nobodies heart pumps that fast or they'd die.

There is no way that you would die. Some people who have atrial fibbrilation have a resting heart rate of 500 BPM because of a disease within the conduction system of their hearts

To work out your maximal heart rate you need to take=away your age in years from the number 220

The average heart pumps 2.4 ounces/70 milliliters with every heartbeat. The heart beats about 72 times per minute and it pumps around 1.3 gallons/5 Liters per minute. which works out to 1,900 gallons/7,200 Liters in a day or nearly 700,000 gallons/2,628,000 Liters per year, or 48 million gallons/184,086,000 liters/ in 70 years.

if you mean in an hour it would beat 4200 times if you mean a day it would beat 100800 or if you meant in a second it would beat 1.167 times. If this is not what you meant please rephrase the question.

Cardiac output (CO).  For a healthy adult human, normal CO is 5-8 L/min, but can be as high as 25 L/min during strenuous exercise.  Cardiac output = heart rate x stroke volume.

5L/min=.08333 L/s 74 heart beats/ min = .81 you get this fraction of .08333 L/heart beat, so .08333 * .81 = .067 L per heart beat.
