In North America there's the Alaskan moose, western Canada moose, eastern moose, and shiras moose.

In Europe/Asia there is the eurasian moose, also called the eurasian elk, not to be confused with the north American elk ( C.canadensis )

Excuse me?? There is no such thing as "different types" of moose!! They're all the same species and "type" wherever they're located, whether it's in the northern part of the USA or the northern sub-arctic regions of Canada!
