She was a made up person on the Titanic
she died 1997
The fictional character Rose DeWitt Bukater was 17 when she boarded the Titanic. The character, who changed her name to Rose Dawson Calvert, died at the age of 102.
Rose Bukater never existed so technically she never died. The character was pure fiction, but for the sake of the film, her death was presumably the same year the start & end of the film was set, 1996.
rose dewitt died in 2009 so ppl dont know what they sayin

No, both are fictional characters for the movie. So, they were never alive or existed and therefore they never had a child.
Titanic was released in December of 1997, and Rose died just 1 month before her 101th birthday, so she had to be born sometime in January of 1896. I an not positive, this is just my educated guess.
she died in 1997
Rose DeWitt Bukater is fictional. So is Jack Dawson, although, after he finished writing the screenplay, James Cameron discovered that there was a man named Joseph Dawson who died aboard the Titanic. His gravestone reads, "J. Dawson." Rose's mother was based off of Jack Thayer's mother.
In the movie she was meant to be 17 but when she played the character she was 22
101. But it's stated that she will be 101 next month. If I remember right it was something like this, if Rose was still living she'd be over 100 and the other guy said 101 next month, but she died before her birthday. OODLES: 101
The movie character "Rose DeWitt Bukater", played by Kate Winslet (young Rose) and Gloria Stuart (old Rose) in the movie "Titanic", changed her name to "Rose Dawson" after being rescued in the movie, wanting to begin life anew and to honor the person she truly loved, Jack Dawson, who had helped to save her life. Rose dies peacefully in her sleep at the very end of the movie, onboard the vessel conducting salvage operations on the Titanic. The ending scene depicts her spirit returning to the Titanic and those that perished, including her former love Jack Dawson.
