Four (4) years per term And a mayor can serve how ever many terms they want; unless they break a rule or commit a crime. Also if they dont win the next election For a ceremonial Mayor, normally one municipal year (May-May)unless no-one else wants to do it! For an executive Mayor, they are elected for four years.
