There is no specified age requirement for the office of California's Governor. However you must be a registered voter, which means you must be at least 18 years old.
California and Tennessee.
The governors of California have lived in different locations over the years. I know there was a mansion in the past that was not in very good repair. The current governor lives in the hotel across from the capitol when he is in town and commutes to his home somewhere in the LA area where his family lives.
Impeachment or recall. We recalled our Governor here in California several years ago.

He spent much of his adult life there and represented a California district in Congress.(Two others US Presidents lived in California , -- Herbert Hoover and Ronald Reagan were born elsewhere and then moved to California as adults. Reagan served as governor of California. Hoover graduated from Stanford U. and returned for some years afterward. )
